Bënunì at Mea Via!

South Tyrol. The name alone awakens longings: For Dolomite grey mountain peaks and lush green alpine meadows. For an irrepressible lust for life and really good flavours. Our Mea Via is the essence of the South Tyrolean soul. The Pitschieler family are breaking new ground with their unique holiday concept. At over 1,400 metres, the mountain landscape of Val Gardena is much more than just a pretty holiday backdrop. The pulse of nature sets the pace. In and around the Mea Via. A holiday home has been created that combines modern architecture and centuries-old traditions.

They live and love the slow farm hotel concept: valuable wood, natural stone and pure glass dominate the understated elegance of the rooms and suites. In the Bulla restaurant, guests are spoilt with delicacies produced sustainably and directly on the farm. The small, fine spa area caresses body, mind and soul with the power of South Tyrolean Alpine nature.

In selected workshops and courses, guests are introduced to traditional Val Gardena mountain farm life. If you like, you can look over the shoulders of the farmers as they go about their daily work. The mountain landscape of the Alpe di Siusi offers countless opportunities to be active at any time of year. On skis, by bike or on foot: there are many ways to get closer to our South Tyrolean nature. At Mea Via, each of our guests will find their own.

Mountain farm. Design hotel. Slow food paradise. The Mea Via is all this and much more. Yesterday and today form a unique symbiosis up here on the sunny slopes of Bulla near Ortisei. The understated, timelessly beautiful architecture blends effortlessly into the impressive scenery of the Seiser Alm. Straightforward, unadorned and yet furnished with great attention to detail, the house captivates with its unique, authentic flair.

The large window fronts allow plenty of daylight into the generously proportioned rooms. Luxurious furnishings with rainforest showers, free-standing bathtubs, king-size beds or personal sun terraces create plenty of space for unforgettably relaxing days in marvellous surroundings.

Culinary delights

Dairy products, meat, eggs, vegetables, fruit and herbs – much of what is served to guests is produced by the family themselves. Just as the South Tyrolean mountain farmers have done for generations. With great dedication, passion and respect for nature. At Mea Via, you can feel the slow food philosophy, which gives guests plenty of time for moments of culinary bliss. In the morning, the sumptuous breakfast buffet sets you up for an active day in the mountains, while in the afternoon Mea Via spoils guests with homemade desserts.

Those who prefer to stay longer will be delighted with the late riser breakfast. The centrepiece of the culinary delights is the Bulla restaurant, where the chef offers a modern interpretation of Alpine cuisine with a 5-course menu, bringing the sunny flavours of southern Italy to the plate. The restaurant and bar are also open at lunchtime, and in the afternoons Grandma Barbl spoils guests with handmade desserts.

Active

Cosy or sporty: whichever way you want to experience nature, the area around the Seiser Alm is a real mountain paradise. Countless paths and trails

can be explored on foot or by pedalling. There are numerous climbing routes for those who want to get up high. In the colder months of the year, the landscape transforms into a true winter wonderland.

The legendary World Cup resort of Val Gardena/Gröden and the connection to Dolomiti Superski, the largest ski carousel in the world, offer unlimited winter sports fun. Our own mountain experts offer guided hikes three times a week. At any time of year. And completely free of charge for hotel guests.

Recreation

The power of fën, the mountain meadow hay from Val Gardena, is at the centre of the 200 m² wellness area. Together with millennia-old Dolomite rock, wonderfully fragrant wood and valuable essences from the mountain nature, it creates plenty of space for pure moments of relaxation: In the mountain panorama sauna, the organic mountain herbal sauna and the mountain spring water steam bath. The wonderfully quiet relaxation rooms and the sun terrace offer a spectacular view of Piz Culatsch and Seceda.
