The AlpiNN on the Kronplatz offers a unique experience of mountain cuisine. With its new cultural concept, it is a place where food plays the leading role. It goes beyond the idea of a classic restaurant and transforms a meal, an event or a meeting into an opportunity to approach the world of food in a new way.

The AlpiNN is a meeting place where socialising at the table becomes a shared experience and a restaurant functions as a living room with a cosy atmosphere. The design of the AlpiNN, created by Martino Gamper, is based on a “living room” concept. This is where people meet, eat, drink and relax while admiring the surrounding mountains. Similar to a mountain, the AlpiNN offers different perspectives and heights that change depending on the activity and position, opening up new perspectives each time. The combination of different shapes and materials creates an intimate and inviting atmosphere that takes ethical and material aspects into account.

Michelin-starred chef Norbert Niederkofler is the driving force behind AlpiNN. After travelling around the world, he has rediscovered his roots and his homeland and has made sustainability and regionality the basic principles of his culinary art. The “Cook the Mountain” concept is based on globally shared values and combines mountain culture and tradition with cuisine and gastronomy from all over the world.

The menu at AlpiNN is based on seasonality and regionality. Each dish reflects the mountains, the hard work of the farmers and breeders and the traditions that have been handed down. Creative recipes minimise waste and everything can become an ingredient. Simple, pure and unadulterated ingredients are key to savouring the true taste of local mountain cuisine that is accessible to everyone.

Flurin

The historic inn is one of the oldest surviving structures in the charming town of Glorenza/Glurns. The Flurin building and its inn were named after Flurin von Turm, a judge who lived here in the 14th century. The Rhaeto-Romanic name “Flurin” is derived from the Latin word “Florus” and means “the flourishing” or “the splendid”. With Romanesque foundations dating back over 800 years, the Flurin is a fascinating testimony to times gone by and a real treasure trove of history.

Originally, the Flurinsturm served as a court and administrative centre, which counteracted the strong ecclesiastical influences of the time. Even Emperor Maximilian found a cosy place to stay here when he was passing through. After years of vacancy, the Prieth family acquired the building in the 1950s. Originally used as a home and workshop, the Flurin building was sold by Leonhard Prieth to his friend Fred in 2018. Together, Fred and his son initiated an elaborate family project to completely renovate the run-down house.

Today, flurin shines in new splendour and invites guests to enjoy a unique culinary experience. The flurin’s motto is “Casual Fine Dining” and primarily presents regional delicacies, accompanied by an exquisite selection of organic and natural wines as well as timeless classics. Flurin’s cuisine is closely linked to the surrounding landscape and reflects the team’s passion and creativity. Monthly changing menus allow guests to discover the diversity of the region and the influences of the seasons. By working closely with local farmers, the flurin guarantees the exceptional quality of the produce used.

Brix 0.1

brix 0.1 in Brixen is the first restaurant in the park and offers a unique ambience under a canopy of leaves in the most beautiful greenery of Brixen. It is not just a restaurant, but also a café and ice cream parlour that offers something special for everyone. The concept is cosmopolitan, refined and regional at the same time and is located very close to the city centre in the Lido Park, where you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

The two chefs Philipp Fallmerayer and Ivo Messner from Bressanone have taken their passion for cooking around the world. They have cooked in various countries such as Asia, Australia, Dubai, Kazakhstan and Switzerland and are perfectionists in their craft. With creativity, sophistication and a pinch of craziness, they create honest dishes without frills, but with love and flair. Their aim is to offer pure enjoyment from high-quality ingredients and to constantly discover new dishes with unexpected flavours.

Since 2016, brix 0.1 has attached great importance to bringing vegetables from its own parental farm directly to the plate. Growing and carefully caring for the plants themselves creates flavours and dishes that are unique. Over 80 different types of vegetables, herbs and fruit are grown and are reflected in the ever-changing menu, which is inspired by the season and what is blooming in the restaurant’s own garden. In addition, the restaurant also works with local farmers to offer guests a diverse selection of seasonal and sustainably grown vegetables.

The Miil in Cermes is a restaurant that focuses on the essentials and takes the path of deceleration. Here you can enjoy, switch off and forget everyday life. The owners of the Miil love hospitality and are constantly on the lookout for new challenges. It is the constant development that they enjoy.

The restaurant is part of the Kränzelhof, which comprises seven gardens, a historic wine cellar, a winery and the Miil. Here, art, culture and cuisine come together to form a harmonious whole. Visitors can explore the 20,000 square metre gardens, which serve as a living work of art and stage for changing exhibitions by national and international artists. Here you can experience the plants, works of art and wine culture that change through and with the seasons.

Miil shows the greatest respect for people, plants and animals. The food is processed with care and sustainability. The knowledge of the origin and quality of the raw materials gives the products a new face. The menu is written by the seasons and the seasonal cuisine is based on quality rather than the price of the products. The ingredients used are predominantly organic and fairly produced from suppliers in the region who understand the high quality standards of fresh food and live by them without compromise. Here, time sets the pace and enjoyment sets the tone. In addition to the daily fresh seasonal cuisine, wine is a central element. The wine at Miil is fine, profound and stimulating. It is not intended to fill you up, but to whet your appetite for more. Flavour, complexity, minerality and, above all, drinkability play a major role.

The Löwengrube restaurant in Bolzano skilfully combines modernity with the past. As Bolzano’s oldest restaurant, founded in 1543, it offers sophisticated cuisine inspired by the whole world.

Michael Meister is both rooted in South Tyrol and a citizen of the world. He has moulded these two characteristics into a harmonious overall concept in the Löwengrube. The restaurant team guides guests with esprit and charm into a world with over 1000 wine labels and exquisite dishes that draw their inspiration from all over the world.

The cuisine at the Löwengrube is exciting and intoxicating. The wine list tells stories from all over the world. Here you will find wines from South Tyrol, Italy and all over the world. The sommelier invites guests to explore the medieval wine cellar dating back to 1280, enjoy a glass at the stylishly arranged wine bar or experience international wine culture in the trendy lounge.

The architecture of the restaurant offers a harmony that transcends epochs. The rooms are a journey through the world of the senses and represent a reinterpretation of South Tyrolean history. Contemporary architectural nuances meet design elements from the 20th century, while the basic medieval structure of the oldest inn in Bolzano is preserved. An aesthetic highlight is the original neo-Gothic parlour with its Art Nouveau tiled stove, where guests can dine.
